He not only installed the garage door openerâ s but he balanced the garage doors, and lubricated them, replaced all the wiring, and also replaced two brackets on the doors. He even adjusted our door completely without extra charge and visited our house twice. Once to free our trapped vehicle and once to give us literature and explain things to us. Comments: I am so grateful for Dano’s Garage door service. I Originally contacted Home Depot for my garage door to be installed. I was told they would contact me within 24 hours and it would be installed a week and a half later. 3 days later no one has yet to contacted me. So I went on home advisor who contacted Dano’s. Within a half an hour I was contacted (around 5:30pm on a Thursday) via text and an appointment was scheduled for the next morning. 8am I was sent a text stating he was on his way and he arrived promptly at 8:30am. By 10am he was walking me through how operate the opener, troubleshooting, and how to reset it. It was about $30 more than Home Depot but to be able to have such quality service at such short notice I would gladly pay for his services again! Thanks again Dan!

There were numerous things Dano had to work around such as cleaning up loose wires in the ceiling, installing dedicated power, and installing the opener around a steam pipe. Dano and his helper worked all day into the night to get the project complete. Communication with Dano was exceptional. Would absolutely recommend. Quality work, timely delivery, great communication, fair price.

When I asked what the cost would be to replace the garage door opener, he promptly replied with a reasonable quote. In addition, as an opportunity presented itself for us to have further upgrades, he notified me. He was not frustrated at all when we declined. The work he did was impeccable and the area left clean and the garage door in great working condition. The price was a great value for what we received. We had the opener replaced, weather stripping and springs replaced and an external pad added to the outside. He was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Comments: Dano's is professional prompt and provides a very good product. In addition, he is kind. Not only was I thrilled to have the garage doors working, he cleaned up part of the garage. I am getting up in age and I had tripped and sprained my ankle. He knew that I would not be able to move a lot of the items; so on his own accord he moved it. I did not ask him; I did not even mention it. He did it out of kindness. So the take away is : There are still very good people out there - just in case you are wondering.

He was there the very NEXT morning, to look at my repair, assess the situation and give me repair options for my garage door opener. He was very friendly, professional and his knowledge of the equipment was evident. I had tried using general handymen in the past for similar repairs to the same garage door opener and the result was functional, but not lasting. Dano was quick to point out the flaws in that repair effort and was very good at informing me on the proper set-up for my kind of opener. He returned two days later and installed my new, and better quality, garage door opener with no issues. I could not have been happier with the quick turnaround and the ease of the whole process with Dano. Although the price exceeded what I thought the repairs should cost, I am very confident that I finally have a garage door opener that will work day in and day out, quietly, for years to come, thanks to finally having a professional like Dano, who knows what he is doing, install the right equipment, the right way. Comments: Our garage door spring had broken and we couldn't open our door at all. We had our spring replaced by another company a month earlier. After getting the run around from the other company, Dano came out the same day and replaced our door spring at a cheaper cost. Our garage door works a lot better than the original install. When this was not possible he scheduled a visit to come out the next day at a convenient time, and arrived promptly. He was friendly and professional and installed a new garage door opener in about 45 minutes, and took the time to show me how to use it and familiarize me with its features. He was very professional, and very personable. I will definitely use him for any other garage door projects in the future, and cannot recommend his services enough.

Comments: Truthfully, I would have given 5 stars for all Dano did for us; however, I held back half a star for the sake of "longevity". In simple terms, how well any business performs over the long haul, in my opinion, is what earns the last 1/2 of a star. But, there is no doubt that Dano did solid work, was on schedule with what he promised to do & when, was very respectful of our needs and concerns, and Dano balanced out the economic side of the job as well. If he'll have us, we will be seeing Dano again. We are a commercial business with many overhead doors, from large to small, from manual to automated, and Dano also took care of our loading docks; by the way, he was the first overhead door company to offer to take care of the loading docks. I wish Dano much success, I am grateful for the quality of work he did, and I hope he doesn't forget us when & as his Company grows :-).

Then we tried to get fancy and, instead, messed up 2 clip-on remotes, 2 built in remotes in the cars AND the key pad on the garage. Not a great marriage moment.... And it was Sunday night. Logged in to Home Advisor and found Dano. He came out Monday morning first thing. Was even going to be a few minutes late and called just to tell me. He explained everything he was doing and fixed it all. Very fair price. Super polite guy! Highly recommend! :)
